Description
Grand Ole' Ditch is all about having some new fun with that old Appalachian sound. They began as a home-brewed bluegrass band out of the mountain town of Cumberland MD, deriving their name from an important piece of Western Maryland history: the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. The band is now creating a presence of their own in the Mid-Atlantic bluegrass scene, bringing you the nickel-wound vibrations you've always longed for, emanating from the pigeon-holed boxes we have all come to know. The songwriting is inventive with caramelized harmonies. The banjo is dazzling. The dobro is silky. The bass gallops along to a freight train guitar, while the fiddle sizzles around a fiery mandolin, and the drummer boy marches them onward. From one era to another, it's music to your ears. Grand Ole' Ditch can be found appearing at many of the region's premier music festivals and venues, touring full steam ahead, with new shows always around the bend.

Where can i park my car?
The Hawley Silk Mill and Cocoon parking areas are available for Harmony Presents attendees. There is plenty of parking space available for weekend and night time shows.

Is my ticket transferable?
Tickets may be given to others, but they should know the name of the original ticket buyer.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds will only be issued if a performer is unable to perform at our venue on the originally scheduled date.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a show must be cancelled, we will email and text/call all ticket buyers as soon as possible. Ticket buyers will be refunded.
Is a minimal age required to attend this event?
13 years, but we can sometimes make exceptions. Please contact jill@silkmillharmony.com if you are interested in bringing a younger person.
May I bring my own beer/wine/alcoholic beverage?
Our shows are not BYOB. Cocoon Catering Company sells wine, beer and some mixed drink options at the shows as well as snacks during performances. Other non-performance events may be BYOB, but this will be clearly stated in the event description.
